@infatuation_atl: Summerhill is no stranger to changes. Over the last few years, it became a dining destination almost overnight. Now some of its biggest spots are disappearing. #infatuationATL #atlantarestaurants #summerhill #atlantafood #EEEEEATS
They need more entertainment places not restaurants. Speakeasy, open green space for live music, bowling, something else!

One thing I noticed is that NO ONE is there at night.

Hero donuts closed along with dozens of other pihakis-owned restaurants, including Rodney Scott’s. Regardless, better transit options are desperately needed for these two neighborhoods to be successful.

The economy is in free fall, there are far fewer people able to spend $32 for three donuts.

We have been really disappointed with the choices since juniors shut down. That area is begging for a pizza spot. Ofc little tart and big softie still hit.

Love Talat Market! They’ve been doing well in that location since it opened in 2020 so I have to believe the issue is with the restaurants themselves rather than the location.

sadly summerhill isn’t served by a marta station which is awful cause GSU is right there. and i like the new rapid bus line but it doesn’t serve any station that has a parking lot

Hero Donut was good but the other food wasn’t. And $5 per donut. Plus the traffic flow is low. They need more festivals and weekly events. I’m not sure if its population density is enough on its own at those price points. Plus it needs national brands anchored there. A Krispy Kreme would do great over there or a staple restaurant. But the unique places aren’t enough
