In 1911, she survived the collision between the RMS Olympic and HMS Hawke. A year later, she survived the sinking of the RMS Titanic after escaping on a lifeboat. During World War I, she was aboard the HMHS Britannic when it struck a mine and sank in 1916, surviving once again.
