Why do people more so think he’s more of a representation of solitude/isolation rather than loneliness? Sure, mori did isolate himself from people/society by climbing mountains because he thinks people are bit somewhat troublesome to him because they expect too much or how of a burden it is when it comes to connecting with individuals, but some people somewhat fail to realize that he’s also using the mountains as an escapism because it’s what makes him feel more alive. But as the story progresses, he realizes that he was also lonely and wanted to also be understood, he only chose to remain isolated within the 100 chapters of the manga because he couldn’t find anyone that truly understood him and thought he was better off alone. He even thought he probably could’ve lived a better life if he didnt isolate himself in the mountains/used mountain as an escape. The whole point of the climber is that nobody can truly live alone, even the manga says it. I mean of course, It’s definitely up to reader’s interpretation but some interpretation from other people that I see from them are just some that I dont get.
