مسلم بن عقيل (ع) هو ابن عقيل بن أبي طالب، وابن عم الإمام الحسين بن علي وسفيره إلى الكوفة. أرسله الإمام الحسين (ع) سنة 60 هـ ليتحقق من ولاء أهل الكوفة بعد أن دعوه للقدوم ومبايعة قيادته. بايعه الآلاف في البداية، لكنهم تفرقوا عنه بعد تهديدات والي الكوفة عبيد الله بن زياد. أُلقي القبض عليه بعد مقاومة شجاعة، واستُشهد في الكوفة يوم 9 ذي الحجة سنة 60 هـ. ويُعدّ أول شهداء نهضة كربلاء ورمزًا للوفاء والشجاعة والإخلاص لأهل البيت (ع). Muslim ibn Aqil (peace be upon him) was the son of Aqil ibn Abi Talib and a cousin of Husayn ibn Ali. He was sent by Imam Husayn to Kufa in 680 CE to assess the support of its people after they invited Husayn to lead them. Although thousands initially pledged allegiance to him, many abandoned him under pressure from the governor, Ubayd Allah ibn Ziyad. After showing great courage and resistance, Muslim was captured and martyred in Kufa on the 9th of Dhu al-Hijjah, 60 AH. He is remembered as the first martyr of the Karbala movement and as a symbol of loyalty, bravery, and devotion to the Ahl al-Bayt. #explore #fyp
