I’m in a predicament about what I’m gonna do. I got accepted into top unis like St Andrews, Glasgow and Edinburgh. But it’s for a course in languages which isn’t what I wanna do, it’s more of a side passion. I really want to be a commercial pilot but getting there is so difficult. An apprenticeship is smart but in what though??? 😭 Getting one for pilot training is notoriously hard. Or do I just go to uni and see what awaits me?

University can be good for some both for networking, learning to be independent and broadening your horizons both socially and intellectually, and gaining confidence.

Personally depends a lot also from the country you are living in, in some countries the government has public university, so luckily you don’t have to pay that much. So the companies require you to have a degree to have accessed to ceirtain roles
