Thank you for speaking slowly, I hardly had to look at the English subtitles…going to Paris in October, can’t wait to eat everything! 👊🏻😎

But a baguette is better for a jambon beurre which is the greatest sandwich in the world…🥰 I think tradition is best for accompagning meals. What do you think?

That's wrong You can have multiple types, not only 2. Even in good boulangerie there's generally a cheaper option, not a fake one. "Baguette de tradition" cannot contain technical additive like malt, added enzymes or bleaching agents (citric acide). The other types are not really regulated, but tend to be the specialty, and need to be good as they're more expensive. Here the law https://www.legifrance.gouv.fr/loda/id/JORFTEXT000000727617/

Okay so two points- even eating the processed baguette in France I still don’t feel as bloated as I do eating sliced bread also, and more importantly,my French is better than I thought it was! I understand 90% of this thank you for boosting my confidence 😊😊😊😊

N’importe quoi ! Dans toute boulangerie officielle, les baguettes (traditions ou classiques) sont faites sur place et pas du tout industriellement. Les classiques sont aussi bonnes que les traditions, c’est une question de goût avant tout !

I had no idea but I always order tradition cause that’s what I heard people getting when I went to France so it’s my go to no matter where I am, France, Tahiti or New Caledonia!

En Allemagne, nous avons aussi des baguettes ; on les appelle baguettes paysannes. J’adore leur croûte ferme et leur mie aérée.
