@sophiemorrisofficial: Have you tried tru fru before? Are you surprised by how much cheaper it is to make them at home yourself?! And just in case you might think Tru Fru is a small local business, it’s actually owned by Mars Incorporated! I absolutely loved making this homemade swap! They’re so simple and definitely a fun one to do with kids, and they taste absolutely divine!! I haven’t tried the actual tru fru ones with the white chocolate but I have to say the Greek yogurt worked amazingly! my kids devoured them 🙌 I bought all ingredients in Lidl and this is a breakdown of the costs: 170 g of frozen raspberries = €0.91 30 g of Greek yoghurt = €0.20 75 g of dark chocolate = €1.67 Total = €2.78 for approximately 200 g of homemade Tru Fru! Method: Use little wooden skewers to coat each frozen raspberry in greek yogurt (if the Greek yogurt you’re using seems too thick for this you can loosen it with a splash of milk which does the trick!) Place on a tray lined with parchment paper and into the freezer for 30 mins to harden. Meanwhile melt dark chocolate and allow to cool so as not too hot when dipping in the frozen raspberries! Remove the yogurt raspberries from the freezer and use the skewers again to coat them in the melted dark chocolate. Place back on the tray and into the freezer for another 15 mins to harden and enjoy! (Store in the freezer until you want to have them) Will you give them a go? ❤️ #homemadeswaps #sophiesswaps
Hard bit is getting raspberries that don’t go off as soon as you take them home

I totally get what you're saying but it's the convenience of having them already done that makes me buy these and they're yummm 🥰

I buy the frozen strawberries from aldi & dip them in chocolate. The €1 bars are perfect ..tru fru for less than 1/2 price plus you can store them in zip lock bags in freezer 🙂

if you buy them on club card price it works about a euro extra and no work involved. also they use high quality chocolate not cheap stuff at 1.67. ive tried making them myself and its not worth the effort and doesnt taste the same the frozen raspberries are bitter and half the bag come in bits and go soggy quickly after taking them out of the freezer.
