you never know what a moment means until it's a memory. but paradoxically if you sit in a moment and try to think about enjoying that moment and what it might mean it kind of takes away from the moment cuz you can't stop thinking about how fast it's going to be over. sneaky thing they call life

I’m 42. My kids are 9,7,6,3,2 and 5 mths. It flies by faster with each baby. It breaks my heart. I keep wanting more babies so I can keep reliving it.

I am 39 with a 21,20,18,9 yr olds and it goes by so fast. My older two live their own lives and I feel like this already. My husband is gone out of the country for work about 7 months out of the year and he misses so much with us. I can't believe how fast our kids have grown up.

I resonate with this so well! It’s so true how easy it is to get and stay caught up in the day-to-day grind. I try actively every day to bring myself back to the present and not miss those invaluable moments with my wife, and children, and family that pass us by so quickly each day. One thing you can’t get back is time, thank god I’ve realized this when my kids are young. Time goes by quick being present and involved while they want you to be there is priceless

I just turned 40 last year and I feel exactly what you’re describing. I think about these things quite often as my kids are getting older as well and I now have an adult child. I have my middle school son and my 20-year-old son. I see them growing and I’ve realized that I am too in my midlife because like you said the average age is around 80 for life. This is why balance in my life is so important to me and for some reason others around me, don’t understand it. I need to have time for myself, for work, and for the ones close to me. I made it a point throughout my kids life to show up to every event possible because you don’t get those chances again as they only grow older and become adults. I’m very grateful for having been a part of every event in their school life I still am here for them as long as they need me and as long as I’m here. 🩵🩵

I finally reached my goal of getting to a point in life where I can enjoy it until I die. Then I had a kid and now my life is stressful 😂😂. jk I love my son but its HARD lol
