@bodegacatx: Mansaf can be traced back to Bedouin tribes in the late 18th century all across the levant and is till a huge part of Jordanian and parts of Palestinian culture to this day. And before people stir up a fuss about me mentioning Palestine, please remember that Jordan and Palestine were basically one country up until not too long ago. It’s very common for cultural foods and traditions to be intertwined, especially considering the nomadic nature of the Bedouins who lived in the Levant at that time.
