@alyharrison: Day 2 of making a swap in our home reduce our exposure to plastics. Yesterday I swapped period products and today we are looking at nappies! Now I know cloth nappies are the BEST option to avoid plastic but they aren’t suitable for every family and I am a disposable nappy girly so I needed to find the next best thing! Beyond by @BabyLove Nappies have been the best option so far! They are affordable and have some great features! Their choice in materials is great and they are EOKO-TEX certified ✅ The only downside is that these nappies are not available on most supermarket shelves and these actually came from @Chemist Warehouse Official! There are some other fantastic brands of nappies that use great alternatives to plastic and less or no harmful chemicals but for the price and convenience, these are a great swap! If you’re interested to know other brands that I think are a good swap, let me know! * I have a toddler in pull ups and 4 month old in nappies. Nappy pants are what I’m showing here. #lowtox #plasticfree #theplasticdetox #nappies #aussiemum
We swapped to reusable nappies! So much easier, cheaper and better for the environment.

Tooshies have the least plastic! The rest are basically the same: ordering online is better, beyond jusst passes definitely better than the rest but still processed with bleach and chemicals, so no plastic doesn’t always mean non toxic, chemist warehouse sells the WOTNOT whipes and they are plastic free!! Really good option if you can get the box of 4 for 12$

I love beyond by BabyLove, but they are so hard to find. I have to order them online then paying an extra $30-$60 on shipping 😩

Honestly I went to terry flats, easy to wash, quick to dry and cheap. Used disposable when we had a big day trip or went on holidays or sick
