I’m 54. I lived directly across the street from there until I was 5. I use to sled ride on those mounds with my sisters. I’m so glad it’s illegal now. We were kids and had no idea the significance of the land we were standing on.

I had elementary school field trips to Earthworks. I loved it so much, my HS senior photos were taken there. It is such a fascinating natural time capsule.

When I was a kid the strawberry festival was held there. There is a sidewalk about 2 feet down. So the top 2 feet that we rode our bikes on were put on top of the mounds

I remember going here once in elementary school and the whole time our teacher is hyping it up, comparing it to the pyramids so all us little kids are super excited thinking we're about to see someone out of Indiana Jones, boy were we all super disappointed when we finally got there, "it's just a hill!" as our teacher tried explaining how it wasn't 😂
