i also do my own gel x and it used to take me foreverrr. i know you didn’t ask, but some tips that helped which might help you was making sure that I took my time to do my prep, and that my nails were dry. After removing the gel, buffing, my nails, and doing my cuticle care, I would wash my hands and make sure they were dry, wipe my nails down with acetone, and then continued with my dehydrator and primer. Also when you’re gluing the nail, make sure that the tip is not right at the cuticle and I go in and wipe the tip down with acetone at the bottom to make sure that the tip melt into my nail and then cover the rest of the space with builder gel.
