@chriscaresnone: found the secret Korean book and I'm letting all the secrets out! No more GATEKEEPING! Kimchi is like a miracle dish. Literally had it like 3 times yesterday. #Kimchi #KoreanFood
We eat it because it’s good for your gut too. Many Doctors recommend it because it’s a natural probiotic. I always eat it with rice and sausage or I eat it with ramen. Kimchi Jjigae (kimchi soup)is great too. Take half of that jar, put it in a pot. With 5 cups of water, gochu jang (korean paste), chop green onions, chopped garlic, chopped pork meat, key ingredient: 2 tablespoons butter, use the smart balance butter. Boil all of that for about 40 minutes or until the kimchi is well cooked. Once it’s done, eat the soup with rice.

Squeeze out the juice. Sauté in bit of oil and add a bit of sugar. Put that on a burger, hot dog, or in a quesadilla.

Say what? What’s the name of that kimchi? 🤣 My coworker makes it for me. My favorite is cucumber Kimchi. It’s way better when it’s home made. Wait til you try tteokbokki, Bulgolgi, roasted sweet potatoes, Gailbi, Kimchi fried rice, kimchi pork belly stew, the list just goes on. I mean I absolutely love Korean food. I’m actually learning how to make it all from scratch because I found everything tastes wayyyy better home made.

So you might find this interesting. Korean food brand called Jongga (famous for kimchi), is named to evoke traditional, authentic family heritage. Jongga 종가 means the principal family house—usually the household of the eldest son in the direct line. Now for a word everyone misinterprets. 너 (neo) = “you” (informal singular “you”) - 네가 (nega) = “you” as the subject of a sentence (“you” + subject marker 가) Example:
네가 했어? (nega haesseo?)
= “Did you do it?” I heard that in a KPOP song and was like huh? That That
Song by PSY and Suga ‧ 2022 It's a good song.
