On the standard bed we just replace the mattress is a regular one then the bunks that are misshaped we bought a 3-4” memory foam topper and just cut the angle

We bought the RV mattress from Costco for our bed they sell RV King and Queen. The bunks I bought queen size foam. Laid the mattress on top and cut out the foam and then put a full size mattress bag over it and tucked in the extra. Under the mattress along with a fitted sheet.

We have a 2” and 4 “ memory foam topper. So now our mattress like 9” thick🤣🤣🤣. But it made all the difference. 🥰🥰🥰

Go to a mattress store, buy a mattress, sleep on it. For the awkward sizes get a 100% memory foam one and cut to fit.

I build a 6" addition to the end of our bed, piano hinged with legs, then we replace rv mattress with a residential pillow top.

here me out i put a blow up mattress under my mattress and a mattress topper. the bed is higher but so so so much better. couldn't afford a new mattress so this works for me😎✌

First thing I did was replace the mattress. Bought a hybrid type off Amazon. No I did not buy rv length, bought regular length. Little tight but worth it!

Idk the mattress that came in our Brinkley is comfortable. I did buy a topper but it was way too soft for us, we are almost 40 and our shoulders and backs hurt lol so we need a hard bed
