My boyfriend has been on methadone over 10 years and he tried to jump off at 20mg years ago and after 3 months he was still in withdrawal and hasn’t been able to quit since…no idea how you managed at 110, please wish him luck maybe one day we will be free :(

So this is me now. Im having severe withdrawal, been almost 2 weeks. This is my second round of methadone treatment after a withdrawal. I was stable at 115mg for 2 years. Im so stupid and tappers 5 mgs a week, which was okay at first, but i cold turkey 2 weeks ago ish at 15mgs. Although it was not recommended to be going down so fast, and i saw the doctor during withdrawal. He gave me gabapentin for my nerve pain. Now im out of that and the withdrawal is still causing shortness of breath and all the symptoms. I have had such bad insomnia also 💀

wow stopping cold turkey is crazy i could of never, i come of H and methadone millions of times and always gone to rehab and taper down of it down to 5ml and coming off that is hard enough 🥰🥰🥰🙏🙏🙏🙏

The worst part is the restlessness and not being able to sleep while going through the worst withdrawal possible and when you do eventually fall asleep it lasts no longer then 15 minutes and you don’t realize it because your in such a light sleep and in constant thought.

hi i think you are an amazing lady and you have over come the things you have i have seen what it does to family's and friends as my brother and brother-in-law was using it and they ruined there family's they have bin clean for over 10 years now
