The idea that the universe is built like a video game is false, because it makes far more sense that video games are built to resemble our universe. Why? First of all, we create video games using the same logic and rules we observe in real life. Because of that, it’s completely natural that they appear similar. The Nobel prize wasn’t awarded for proving that reality only exists when observed. It was awarded for experiment showing that entangled particles, violate Bell inequalities, and can’t be explained by local hidden variables. Those experiments tell us something profound about Quantum correlations, but they do not show that consciousness renders the universe or that reality appears only when someone looks at it. This is a huge misrepresentation.
