@favourrrr_ike: I remember when I was a little girl (up until I was about 17), my dad would inspect my hair every time I came back from the salon to make sure it wasn’t too tight. Then he’d go ahead and apply Vaseline to my scalp so it wouldn’t dry out or bruise my scalp. Now that I’m grown, thinking about it, my dad was a girls girllll (I mean I’m his only baby girl). Now I’m still very conscious of how tight people make my hair, and immediately after I’m done, I use either hair oil or hair cream on my scalp and it still works till today 🤭 When my hairstylist was applying it on my head, it just reminded me of an old memory that I cherish so much. #haircareroutine #newhair #naturalhair #naturalhairmaintenance
