Measure resistance across the coil terminals. If the meter shows OL / Open Loop → the coil winding is broken and the coil is faulty ❌ For AC coils, resistance values can vary a lot depending on coil design, wire thickness, number of turns, power rating and inductance. That’s why two 230V coils may show completely different Ω readings and still both be normal.
