Wendy to me sits with Skyler White as a character who doesn't really fit into the series she is a part of because she's kind of too normal. In a series of flawed characters she is the least flawed and that kind of character feels almost antagonistic to the series even if they aren't trying to be.

It was such a heartbreakingly sad and brutally real moment. South Park can be so good when it allows itself to genuinely care. I don't think you can write episodes like that with their normal "caring about stuff is cringe" attitude.
