They preach this in school-Stay in your lane and always tell them you aren’t a licensed inspector if you point any potential problem. I love inspection reports, especially detailed reports.

I work for a well company it really can be a matter of year to years. Depth plays a big part. Also sometimes the perforations can get blocked. Lowers water production. Can just happen

I have installed well pumps for a couple years and I agree with your buddy you do want it as low as possible probably not bothering note but as low as possible that way, you give yourself a little leeway when the water goes up and down hundred percent and yes pumps do just randomly go out if you did your check it looks good. What are you supposed to do? It’s electric motor it’s gonna fail one of these times not always gonna give you a sign.
