As a flight attendant, I am thankful TSA took extra precautions to ensure that you and all travelers are following the rules and that everyone is safe on a flight. There is no reason you should be treated differently than any other traveler, and that that powder was checked.

This is why I don’t use the machines and go to the actual people to check my bags. I just flew 4 times in the last 2 weeks and it was absolutely smooth sailing, but I can’t say it would have been the same if I’d have not checked my bags with the actual gate agents.

Girl. I get the frustration but come on now. Arrive minimum of 2 hrs before the flight sometimes more. DIA is one of the busiest airports. You couldn’t figure it out so the rest is a ripple affect to that. They are a business and have to make sure everyone is safe including you even over protein powder. lol you aren’t excluded with these checks or leaving on time. Sounds like a HUGE LEARNING EXPERIENCE. Safe travels
