My grandfather is stage 4 dementia and declining fast. Seeing him on Memorial Day and seeing the look on his face, the fear and confusion of everything around him, knowing it was because he didn’t know where he was or who the other people were was downright heartbreaking. When I see people blatantly put these people all over their pages like this knowing the reality of this disease and how it breaks down the brain makes me so f’ing sick. I’m sorry for the language but I cannot in my whole soul understand why someone would want to exploit someone like that. It’s disgusting and needs to be stopped. I would never in my right mind think about putting my grandfather on my page. He does not understand anything about the world around him right now which means he clearly doesn’t understand consent and that means he doesn’t go on my page. She needs to be jailed for this. Just sick!

as someone who is living with my grandmother with dementia, THANK YOU FOR BRINGING LIGHT TO THIS!! even if shes trying to be “raw and real” exploiting someone with dementia who clearly cannot make that decision themselves to be on camera, its completely wrong! its already hard enough for family members dealing with the dementia, and shes just further exploiting baba and her children. i cant believe shes still up here making videos.

Her husband being a cop, and she filmed someone in the bathroom, which is literally illegal(obviously incredibly wrong even if it wasn't) and could even end up getting you a felony, is wild. Like, I 1000% know how hard it is being a caregiver to someone with Alzheimer's, I did it with my momma, and I fully believe we should talk about that more, and even show the reality of it, however you can easily do that while giving her dignity, ensuring her privacy is still there, and not committing a whole a crime. 🫠

I watched a few of her videos a month ago, now rewatching them I’m APPALLED. The clips of Baba in the bathroom or having a hard time are absolutely insane to post. Posting vulnerable people & children online will always be WEIRD!

I took care of my grandpa with dementia and I would NEVER and didn’t exploit him because that wasn’t my real grandpa. My real grandpa, without dementia, would have enjoyed being filmed but I wouldn’t put his disease on blast.
