This was the biggest shock to me… I sat in our closet sobbing when I was supposed to be sleeping while my husband was on baby shift because I missed him so much and knew things were different now

I remember sitting on my couch next to my husband with our first baby when she was a newborn and bawling my eyes out telling my husband I missed him, even though he was sitting right next to me. Now we have 2 kids and while I miss “us” from before, our relationship is so much better than I ever could’ve imagined. If you’re in this stage of life, know things will not go back to normal, they will be better.
