@pcoswithcandice: They changed the name from PCOS to PMOS… and honestly? A lot of us are feeling seen because of it. For years, “Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome” made it sound like this condition only had to do with ovaries or cysts — when in reality, so many women were experiencing so much more. Hormonal imbalances. Insulin resistance. Inflammation. Fatigue. Mood changes. Skin + hair concerns. Difficulty feeling understood in their own bodies. And many women diagnosed with PCOS don’t even have ovarian cysts. The new name — PMOS (Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome) — reflects the bigger picture: this is a whole-body condition, not just a reproductive one. More understanding. More validation. More accurate conversations around women’s health. And if you already own my book Living with PCOS: Road to Reversal, I want you to know: the tools, education, recipes, workouts, nourishment practices, and practical support inside still absolutely apply. 🤍 Because regardless of the name change, the mission remains the same: supporting you in understanding your body, advocating for your health, and creating lifestyles that help you feel empowered in your healing journey. What are your thoughts on the shift from PCOS → PMOS? #pcoswithcandice #livingwithpcos #pmos #pcostopmos
