this is a very good video. thank you for the comprehensive explanation! i truly don't get why people are up in arms about this. the whole gimmick with tomodachi life items is that they're photo realistic images, and this is a very clever feat of programming that lets us commit to that bit more easily. props to you and to the developer

Honestly I might use this for some more…complex stuff. Like I tried to make a companion cube and wanted it to look more cube like (playing with perspective, of course) but it was too difficult when I imported it into living the grid, so I just had to do a flat image as mine.
