Wrong, majority of power comes from legs and arm is for accuracy. Try hitting half court shots not using legs

It actually varies depending on which kind of shooter you are. For a set shooter he is correct. Jump shooters do get a lot of power from their legs i.e. Ray Allen

I like this exercise. SNAP the the elbow......point the elbow at the rim , shoot, follow through and lock the shooting hand at your eyebrows.

Power comes from effectively transferring energy throughout your form, if you are too snappy.. you will lose power, accuracy, and form. You should feel your jumper all the way through

I agree 💯. Especially for kids. If you watch Trey Young shoot, since he was a 9th grader, his snap was crazy. But also, it’s the snap of the entire body.
