I think therapists deciding what’s normal and not normal is abnormal. How about normalizing encouraging people to do what’s feels right for them and not teach them to compare to others .

But, I don’t like the box of normal because I don’t know what would give me the authority to decide what goes in and out 😩 what is “normal”, I kinda get the concept but I would want them to process where they think it would appear verse me telling them my opinion where it would fall

Sharing locations is a great thing! I have nothing to hide and it saves the “how long will you be” messages. If it was to control and snoop that’s different of course! Also if someone has anxious attachment it can be very reassuring to know where their partner is. And it really helps with jealousy because after a few months of experiencing that the partner is where they said they would be, jealousy dies down as do the endless conversations!!

I love location sharing. I can check if he’s at the school picking up the kid or if he’s done at tennis on on his way home. If he’s picking me up from work I can see when I should leave the building to meet him.
