Some of my favourite moments in Paris are the quiet ones. Waking up to the rooftops of Paris with a coffee and a warm croissant, watching Notre-Dame wake up just outside my window. To me, that's the most romantic view of the city. @hotelmaisoncolbert has something many luxury hotels lack: a soul. Housed in a 16th-century building that was once home to Simone de Beauvoir, it's full of history and sits in my favourite neighbourhood in Paris, the Latin Quarter. One of the highlights of my stay was @themeliacollection singular experience, a private tour of Notre-Dame and the surrounding neighbourhood. Walking through its streets with a passionate guide, discovering the hidden history behind the cathedral, churches and historic landmarks, made me appreciate this part of the city even more.
