as a med lab technologist student (blood banking and genetics are 2 of my favourite things too)- this is actually very possible. although rare, one parent could have the Bombay phenotype (they appear to be type O), and could genetically be type B, which can be passed on to baby without issue. one parent could also have a weak Rh (we call it a weak D), and appear to be negative when they are positive. blood type genetics are complicated and is more than just ABO Rh. so some blood type mismatches with both bio parents is entirely possible :)

I will make it easy for you guys: A and Bs can produce 0s but not the opposite. ABs cannot produce 0s as well and 0s don't produce AB.

so my parents are both A but I'm O-. No. I'm not adopted. and my mom didn't cheat. it is definitely possible to have a blood type different from your parents. turns out, my grandfather was O- and that's where I got it from.
