I was NEVER under the impression that it "CANNED" food! I've watched dozens of videos! It is a "cold vacuum sealer". I have been using mine ( I got 2) to seal my food stored in the refrigerator, to extend shelf life to 2 weeks or more- rather than 4 or 5 days in a baggie or tupperware. All of my dry goods- which I store in glass, have no air, no oxidation and NO BUGS, because they are COLD VACUUM SEALD. SOO EASILY. I can continue working as my gadget works. Just pop it on, & press the button, & I do other things while it seals my stuff. NO STANDING THERE PUMPING. I use it multiple times EVERY DAY. All my dried herbs, flours, grains, seeds, nuts, cereals, bulk seasonings, rice, cookies, candies and items for my dogs like powdered Dinovite ARE VACUUM SEALED WITHOUT HEAT. It does EXACTLY what it was advertised. I never ever heard a seller say it replaced a CANNER in any way!! I just came on TikTok to buy 2 more for a friend whose business dries herbs. It's is so cool -so easy -and cordless- one charge lasts weeks & weeks. It does EXACTLY AS ADVERTISED & Does it EXEMPLARY for like $12 bucks. MY FAVORITE new kitchen gadget. I've had them for over a year & still working perfectly after major use. If it dies, $12 bucks to replace it. It has already paid for itself many many times over.

Can you use them on regular jars (reused jars) or only specific canning jars?

I use my regular vacuum sealer. To seal dehydrated foods. I have my jars not be sealed after a couple of months when using the one you are showing. I donโt use it anymore.

5 to TWENTY PUMPS????? "So EASY"???? That's not good for wrak or elderly AT ALL. if I have 4 or 5 jars I used while doing food prep & cooking- & I need to pump up to 100 times????? My electric ones will not seal if the jar & lid are not perfectly clean. Quick wipe & stick on my electric one, press the button & walk away. Pop it on the next jar & press a button and continue to the dishes or whatever. You dont "like" and excellent product because of an advertisement I've never seen. You generalize ALL electric cold vacuum sealer videos as sccammers. This is TERRIBLY INACCURATE. The electric ones ARE SO MUCH EASIER and WILL NOT SEAL IF FOOD IS ON THE TOP EDGE OF THE JAR OR IF THE LID IS OLD.
