I live in a big city and traffic is very unpredictable, the only thing I ask from my staff when running late is communication. I am late too, so it would be unfair to expect perfect arrival times when there is days I don’t even have it. But I am 100% communicative with my staff. It drives my boss insane but I feel like there are far more important things to stress over than a few minutes of tardiness especially when I could leave an hour early and still be late because of traffic or weather. Work ethic is limited since Covid, so I will happily handle the minor things like a few minutes of missed worked over no workers at all. 🤷🏼♀️
