By the end the tears were falling. Your grandmother reminds me of my grandfather. Only unfortunately for him he became a binge drinker 6 months out of every year. He was terrified of the klan. First interaction I can remember of the cops is them ripping my dad out of his car while we were on the way to the movies and they accused him of stealing it. Generations of trauma and here we are! Still breathing and still going. I would still choose to be black in every lifetime. Thank you for never stopping.
