@jonnaya: May is mental heath month & can’t do anything but THANK GOD. There is a chapter of my life that happened before you were born—a time when the world felt very dark and very heavy. I reached a point where I didn't think I could keep going, and I made a choice to leave. I didn't know it then, but my "failure" in that moment was actually the greatest success of my life. I used to think my life was a story that had run out of pages. Then you arrived, and you became the most beautiful chapter I ever got to write. I want you to know that you didn't just enter my life; you saved it. Being your parent is the greatest blessing I have ever received, and I am so grateful every single day that I stayed behind to meet you. You are my light, my heart, and the very best thing that has ever happened to me.
