Aerosol suppression systems are designed to activate automatically the moment heat reaches a critical temperature. Once triggered, the device releases a dense cloud of potassium based aerosol that interrupts the chemical combustion reaction inside the enclosure. Instead of cooling the fire with water, the mist suppresses the flame at a molecular level. These systems are commonly installed inside server racks, battery storage units, industrial control cabinets, and electrical panels.
