Native (Southern) Californian here. We have beautiful beaches, deserts and mountains. We have great people and it’s quiet luxury and a lot of generational wealth. I would never leave. It is expensive and traffic has its down side but you just learn to live with it. 😂

About weather/warning to people - lots of places inland in Southern California are HOT AS HELL! You have to be on the coast to get this great weather she’s talking about, a lot of Southern California is super unbearable during the summer

I did the same!! St. Pete, FL to Manhattan Beach, CA. California is better then Florida in every way. And completely agree on cost of living/salary. I’m an attorney for the state and my exact job in FL paid literally less than half. I’m living so much better here. Also everyone is nicer lol.

Hahaa you can actually be overdressed at bougie places here. My friends and I went to Nobu for my friend’s bachelorette and we were the most dressed up people there 😅. Everyone there was very casual but expensive casual
