My very sweet mom was bullied for wearing jeans to church by old women in the 90s. She went to church every Sunday up until then and has never stepped foot in a church since then. It broke her heart. She never bought herself clothes because she could barely afford to get ours, but always made sure she did. This was at Franklin Ross Baptist in Murfreesboro, TN
