There are no Gen Eds in grad school which makes a big difference. Every class is designed to take you towards your goal. Makes it easier to commit to doing the work.

I’ve heard the main thing about grad school is there’s just so much work but the content itself gets a lot easier to digest so basically you just gotta get ready for long days lol

I got into grad school at a state school with like a 2.7 and only have to retain a 3.0 to stay in the program, and I shopped for grad schools in and out of state, private and public. My experience seems to be the norm. If you want to go, just apply. Admissions boards should be the ones to tell you no. Not strangers on the internet.

I was going through it one semester... I got a C and was immediately put on academic probation and was SERC'd multiple times. it was a big struggle bus im still navigating. I finish my program August, just walked on sunday 😭.

The U.S. schooling system is so interesting. Why consider a B a failed grade? In my MA in Scotland a C is considered an average grade, whereas a B and A grade is above average. Only 6% of the class will likely get an A and would normally mean your assessment (typically a written assessment like an essay) would be considered good enough to be published. Why water down the grading system like this?

Unless you go to WGU and it’s a pass/fail basis despite being required to get exceeds expectations on an entire rubric for all assignments. This pass/fail system makes everything worth a 3.0. Kills me how bad it’s tanking my GPA despite writing 4.0 quality assignments. 😭
