I’ve been watching videos not even of just this casting call but, even back in the 2010’s when VS would had the models come into that infamous room. The one thing that always stuck with me was when Monica Mitro one of the head executives for VS would say that they weren’t just looking for models to walk in the show, but they were looking for a spokesperson….someone to represent the brand well, and someone who can influence the fans to wanna buy the products. Some of the models in those past castings were absolutely gorgeous but….they looked very serious and didn’t show their personalities that much, and I thought to myself “these models gotta be from high fashion” and because high fashion shows are always serious with no smiling, so VS/Pink is new for them because they gotta smile and have fun. Even Ed Razek as controversial as he was, he always told the models right before the shows started to be flirty, and fun and to always have energy. With this new casting call….all of them are absolutely beautiful and stunning, a few of the girls showed their personalities and looked like they were having fun, but the rest of them looked a bit serious and nervous which is 100% understandable but for VS/Pink they’re told to have fun.
