I live here and EVERYONE stands with Ukraine ☺️everyone has stickers or signs. I’m not ukranian but my neighbors make this the best place to live in Chicago 💕

Plus one of the churches you visited was designed by frank lloyd wright! I think the only church he ever designed. And not too far away is an Eastern Orthodox Church designed by Louis Sullivan

Maybe not the most “cultural” experience, but I used to take my dog to the Ukrainian Village vet and 10/10 recommend; they were so wonderful and are very proudly Ukrainian 💕

First neighborhood I lived in the city. Weirdly, I lived next to a Hungarian church. Also the fact that you didn’t get pierogi at Kasia’s is a crime.
