I think it’s amazing that you can remember all this stuff as if you were experiencing it right now. I’ve never heard any of the therapist talk about these types of things, but they are happening to me right now.

I’m trying to finish my Psychology degree but just being able to do the work is so fucking hard. My dear friend that I’m living with expresses legitimate frustration over something that isn’t even about me or addressed to me, and feeling panic and hyper sensitivity to that tone. Sitting in a park area under trees with dark glasses on and crying to myself. Feeling so exhausted from the point of waking on some days that I can’t bring myself to do much of anything at all. Realising that I can probably never trust anyone relationally again because even if a new person is going to be good, the expression and behaviours of pulling closer to me are probably going to throw my nervous system back into a state of alarm. Etc
