When I first started going to church I would cry and cry, people were concerned and passing me tissues but what I was feeling was healing, like I was releasing all of my worries, doubts, problems and giving them to the Lord and letting go. Like I was being freed from everything that was then holding me back

So true!! I wondered why I cry when I’m not sad….Because it’s a different kind of cry. It’s joy mixed with brokenness but with a mix of gratitude and love….mix of everything.

I cannot make it through a church service without crying. I cry singing worship in the shower. I cry praying. How can one not when speaking to someone as great as He!!!! I mean honestly. His love is most abundant. 🤍

Thank you for this. It comforted me because so often I cannot contain my tears (I try to swallow them) in church and it confuses me and often sneaks up on me for no logical reason. I feel overwhelmed with emotion 💕

i noticed that whenever I'm thanking God for something He has done or when deeply hurting and reporting a situation to Him I normally cry till I choke...is that normal?
