My son has this and it breaks my heart that people have to go through this. He is such a wonderful person and to know that he’s in pain, feels shame and self isolates kills me. For me it’s not being able to wear what I want to wear , these boils are so ugly and disgusting to me I can’t let no one else see it or be intimate I’m too embarrassed and the scarring

I wear black pants all the time just in case of bleeding. Dealing with the pain at work is terrible. I try my best to be at work not matter what is happening. But it is not always possible. I’m lucky that I have an understanding boss now. I’ve had problems in the past with people not understanding. One boss told me stick a bandaid on it and get to work. It is definitely hard.

I have it. When I’m having a flare breakout in my groin area, there’s a smell. People be thinking I just stink but it’s that freaking boil on my thigh!💯😳
