San Diego zoo is AZA accredited.. they are literally the gold standard when it comes to animal conservation and welfare. it has the choice to go in or out of its cool room in the back.

I worked to install all the cooling for the polar bear exhibit. they spent millions of dollars so that this little guy can always be as cold as he wants to be, whenever he wants to be.

The San Diego zoo and the safari park are one the most well respected in terms of wildlife conservation in the country and they are non profit so they definitely do right by these animals and give them the best environment possible I think this bear is really old also…
