Hairdresser here! That’s exactly how you store them! You don’t need to wash them after every use- you’d be surprised how long they’ll last not being washed lol

I have a cute little case I keep my in and my number one rule is put them away clean! Then they are ready when you want them again 😝

Yes queen that’s legit how I store mine 😋 with a big ziplock bag also 🥰 they usually only need washing if it’s had a huge amount of product in them but otherwise just a good brush

I brush it, put it in one big braid and put them in a ziplock bag. Probably not right but they have lasted 2 years😂

If you asked me when I was 16, I’d say chucked on my makeup desk and dematted daily 😂😂 Now I have them in a silk pillowcase in a drawer

Wash and dry like that then loose plait and pop in a silk pillowcase and I have shoe box with my different hairs 🤣

only wash them when they feel a bit producty or smell weird. you don't need to wash them every wear. also, your coat hanger idea is perfect. get a hangable wig bag, will help to protect them from dust and stuff in your closet when you're not wearing 😊

if you put them in a bag add a moisture absorber (the ones that come in shoe boxes) to avoid any mold or unwanted moisture 🥰

My daughter has a clip that is like coat hangers (made for hair) and she hangs in on a wall. Don’t hang them in the cupboard unless you have a humidifier to stop mould.
