People find me frightening because I’m outspoken and say things as I see them. My ex used to call me “brash.” I finally told him I didn’t like it. He always laughed and pretended he was joking. He wasn’t. I absolutely refused to change without ever saying so. It’s my ADHD, partly impulse, partly thinly veiled anger.
