When I told my grandma my dream job was to be a vet (animals) she told me to give up and that girls are to be made good house wives… I was 6 and I still have that dream today, going to be a freshman in higschool and I hope to major in animal studies and stuff like that, I’m 13!!! I was literally 9, my mom was away and my dad called his brothers over to chill(my uncles) and they legit wanted me to cook for all of them?? when my male cousin who was a literal teenager was present and was allowed to go play but not me since apparently little girls have to cook from grown ass men in their 40's💀

when i was in middle school during craft class i got poked with a needle by my male classmate. i then yelled because i was startled and it did sting a bit. instead of asking what was wrong my FEMALE teacher started berating me for having a loud mouth despite being a girl, and cut me off and said if I hadn’t done anything to him why would he have done that to me 😃 That’s when I got introduced to misogyny without even knowing its name. i still wish her a warm place at hell to this day and age tbh
