My thought: when we look at ourselves in the mirror, we are looking at a person Allah entrusted to us. This body, this face, was given to us to care for, protect, and appreciate. So why do we judge it so harshly? Why do we focus on its flaws and imperfections when it is a trust from Allah? Allah did not give us these bodies so we could hate them. He gave them to us so we could love them, take care of them, and use them in ways that please Him. Perhaps on the Day of Judgment, we will be asked about how we treated this trust. Did we care for the body Allah gave us? Did we show gratitude for it? Did we honor it as a blessing, or did we spend our lives criticizing what Allah created? Our reflection is not a reminder of imperfection—it is a reminder of a responsibility, a trust, and a gift from Allah. 🤍
