In my family, we all get together 2-3 times a year and spend hours at the table eating and drinking. We always joke that when cake and tea/coffee arrive, it's time to go home, so usually it comes last 😁

I’m Hungarian. In March, I took my Swedish partner to my mum’s 75th birthday party. We were expecting 15 guests. Around 9 in the morning, four of my aunties turned up and started preparing the whole meal. While they were having coffee, gossiping, and laughing, my partner said this would never happen in Sweden, yet he found it very charming and heartwarming, even though he didn’t understand a single word. 😊
