I started going out when others did to smoke. They asked if I had taken up smoking . Said no, taking the same amount of breaks as the others. No one said anything .

I made a complaint about this at a job and we got lunches changed to 1hour or 2x30 min or 2x15 min and I 30 lunch. Yiu could pick what you wanted and it was entered in to a digital system

I was a smoker… and a manager… if someone asked for a fresh air/ drink/ snack break and didn’t smoke then I’d allow them.

most places I've work will let you substitute your lunch break for 4 15-minute breaks which i think is the fairest way . also allowing anyone to do that if they wanted to.

I’m a smoker and don’t get extra 5 mins to go out and my whole team manage to find time to drink bout 10 teas go on the internet to look at all different non work related stuff like search for travel insurance holidays presents for family random 15 minute chats non work related lol I get to work 30 mins early everyday lol

I'm a smoker and in a 10 hour shift I have an hour break. I tend to take 20 minutes to eat and then about 5-6 smoke breaks during the day. It's the most fair to my colleagues I think
