I can’t get a GLP1 covered by insurance. Even the smallest dose of metformin ER messes up my GI system and makes me vomit. So I tried inositol. I bought the brand name Ovasitol because I wasn’t sure exactly what to buy. It has been amazing. No more sugar cravings, I don’t feel hungry all the time, I feel like exercising. If anyone has any suggestions for a more affordable alternative to Ovasitol, I would love to know!

See I have pcos and metformin doesnt agree with my stomach and I e asked my doctor if there was anything else I could take an she told me no so I haven’t been taking my metformin if anyone knows other wise can you tell me what I can replace metformin with thank you in advance

Yes 👏👏👏. As someone that suffers with this AND is a primary care provider I am eagerly waiting for insurance companies to cover GLP1s for PMOS!!!

I also had a radical hysterectomy 15 years ago having pcos (felt amazing after) dr said I still need to take metformin because that’s an endocrine problem

My pcp put me on a glp for the metabolic issues, I’m on month 3 and the weight is slowly coming off, sure helps with the carb craving! Sure wish I had this when I was younger and not at almost 50 😅

What about hirsutism? Ive been on a glp for over 3 years, lost close to 60 pounds. Over the years Ive been on metformin and spironolactone, Ive done laser. NOTHING WORKS! 😭

GLP-1 was working for a long time but I’ve been completely stuck for the past 6 months. I gained a lot of what I lost and the scale will not budge even on a different GLP-1. I would like to avoid metformin.

I also have endo and my endo symptoms have diminished immensely since starting a GLP1… I wish it was studied more for treatment/relief of pmos and endo/adeno symptoms
